As a compliment to my design practice, I love to explore my own
self-initiated art projects - especially painting, drawing and
taking pictures. I love experimenting with pattern, color and texture
in my paintings, letting my intuition lead the way and
I take pictures of what inspires me.
P O R T U G A L
I had the opportunity to explore Portugal last year and found so much to be inspired by! It’s a beautiful country rich with texture patterns and color.
AMERICAN FLOWER GARDEN
-
In 2024, I began painting each of the US State Flowers. It was a meditative practice of remembering the beauty and possibilities we have as Americans. In heart wrenching climate disasters such as the LA fires, hurricanes and unprecidented winter storms and divisive political times, painting these flowers has been a calming exercise in rebellious joy.
